Unsung Player Day is April 5th E-mail

Barely an hour goes by without Kobe Bryant, LeBron James or Dwyane Wade getting a mention somewhere.  Hell, it's probably even more frequent than that.  We're probably talking minutes... or less.

But what about the guys who sit at the end of the bench?  Awaiting their 2-5 minutes to help the team in any way they can?

A year ago, I put up the following...
Yup, I'm declaring April 5th ‘Unsung Player Day'... we should recognize the guys who toil and work hard every day, for no recognition. Well, today's your day. In reality, these guys are just as responsible for making the NBA what it is today - every team needs role-players, guys to come on and give that valuable 2-5 minutes. Without them, there is no NBA. I would encourage NBA bloggers to put up an ‘unsung player' on their blog on April 5th. (Original linking piece)DJ-Mbenga

And now, April 5th fast approaches yet again.  And again, I encourage all NBA bloggers to take part in celebrating the Unsung.
What I request is to put up a tribute piece on your site to a player who fits the above description.  A role player who gives his all in the 2-5 minutes he gets per game (should be definitely under 10 minutes).  Someone who doesn't get a lot of recognition.  If people send me a link to their piece on the day, I'll have a running thread-piece on here where I'll link to each and every piece.

We had several dozen involved last season, time to acknowledge those who don't get much kudos.  Let's get involved.
