Derek Fisher was suspended for game 3 of LA's series against the Rockets (as expected/discussed here) for his hip & shoulder on Luis Scola. Emenating from the same game, Kobe's fracas with Ron Artest didn't result in a suspension (again... expected), but did get assessed as a flagrant 1 (a little surprised).
Nothing for Ron-ron.
I'm of the opinion that giving a flagrant 1 to Kobe was in effort to try and stop any retaliation that might occur in Game 3. Friday night will tell whether their efforts are all for naught or... not.
