Well, that was a damn good win - LA defeating Denver 95-89.
LO was excellent... Kobe shot terribly but adjusted and played facilitator, Gasol was... well, Gasol (which is to say yet-another-very-good-performance).
And Ron Artest was gold (17 pts, 4x 3 pointers, and SIX steals).
To quote the TV commentary: "He's all we thought he was."
Melo had 21 points off 7-19 shooting, with EIGHT turn-overs, before fouling out with 2+ minutes to go. Precisely why Ron Artest was made a Laker. Not only did Artest do a good job defensively on Melo, but he puts steel in the spine for the rest of the team. It's amazing how quickly the transformation of the Lakers has occurred - moving from 'offensive juggernaut' to 'defensive monster'. I'm lovin' it.
