Dec 9th, Los Angeles Lakers (17-2) at Sacramento Kings (5-16)

Well, this could get interesting.  The Sacramento Kings are off to their worst start in almost ten years, and are on an 8 game losing streak.  9 makes a record.  Who do they face?  The LA Lakers, who are - at 17-3 - at their best start since 1985.  That makes for a bit of pressure.

Mikki Moore realises it.  The following statement pretty much sums up the state of being the Kings currently find themselves.
“Would you let someone go into your house, smack your wife around, make a sandwich and change the channel on your TV?  We’re disgusted with ourselves.”
Yessir, that's pretty bad.

Not likely to get much better in tonight's game.  The Lakers will be looking to assert themselves, and find some of the defensive intensity they had earlier in the season (not Kevin Garnett "I'm-an-asshole-watch-me-bark" intensity, but you get my drift).
LA could do something a little bit different, it'd be nice to see Trevor Ariza a start - that would help with the D.

But this game will just server to further push Reggie Theus under the microscope, a destination a few coaches haven't survived already this season (nods go out to Sam Mitchell and Randy Wittman).
The heat's on. Lakers to win this by 15.
