Well, I couldn't have been more wrong with my predictions in Houston: Say Goodbye to Hollywood.  The Houston Rockets, like some horror-movie monster, just won't die.  And kudos for them not buying into the hype surrounding this series.
But then... the Lakers aren't doing much in helping that out - LA's propensity for erratic play, as discussed in What?  Me worry? have been on full display during this series.  Awesome one day, horrible the next.

So the series comes to LA, game 7.  Am I confident that LA will win?
Pretty much so.  But it all depends on which LA turns up, that's for sure.

Other news, Kobe Bryant's technical foul 'supposedly' committed against Ron Artest has been rescinded.

Pretty amazing call there, and I'm pretty disgusted with Ron Artest for playing that up the way he did. Unbelievable that the referees made that call... but then that's been a hallmark of the entire playoffs this season.  Bizarre refereeing.
Thankfully, the NBA made the right decision - and cleared this one off the books.

Speaking of bizarre decisions, one can only hope that Phil Jackson actually STARTS Jordan Farmar over Derek Fisher.
The one match-up that the Rockets are still able to exploit is Aaron Brooks against Fish, and whilst Farmar's able to keep up with him and has clearly done well on Brooks, Coach Jackson has gone with Fisher every time he's been available.  Basketball's all about winning your match-ups when you can - and LA is able to win this one.
I don't know what Farmar did to get sooo deep in the doghouse with Phil Jackson, but sheesh... put it behind you already Phil!
C'mon, help the team out and start Jordan Farmar.

As Kobe Bryant said to the LA Daily News,
"The key right now is just to win by any means necessary. Just win the damn series..."
My sentiments exactly.
