Marc Stein (who I find to be usually quite accurate, unlike... say... Adrian Wojnarowski) reports that Laker assistant Kurt Rambis has reached an agreement with Minnesota. Apparently, Wolves owner Glen Taylor has confirmed this, stating
"Kurt, with his experience playing and coaching for a winning organization and working under people like Pat Riley, will bring a lot to our organization. In meeting with him and talking to him, I know he's very excited about having an opportunity to help build his own team."
According to Stein's piece at ESPN, it's a 4 year deal worth North of $8 million.
Interesting that Rambis gets to wave bye-bye to the out-going Kevin McHale. I guess revenge is a dish best served cold. Very cold in this case.
We'll miss you at La-La land, Kurt... but all the best in your new endeavor.
