The Darius Miles situation certainly is dominating a number of blogs and the mainstream internet hoops media today. Bust a Bucket are offering a pretty balanced view of things, for a Portland blog.  I understand why Blazers-fans are a little anxious about this - if any team were to find themselves in this situation,,, well, it's understandable.

Running contrary to the Portland missive that teams playing Miles may face a law suit, the NBA released a memo today basically stating,
"Don't let that scare you off."  Not surprisingly, the NBA Players Association have called this collusion (which, pretty much, it is).

As mentioned in YahooSports NBA, it all comes down to:
"The point that everybody is missing is that this isn’t about Portland’s salary cap. It’s about whether this guy [Miles] is healthy enough to play or not."

Update!
* Cavs owner Dan Gilbert is upset with the tone of the letter written by the Blazers.
* The Players Union is in the process of filing a grievance against the Blazers...
