The 76ers. Upon beginning this they didn't jump out at me, but with a little thought/remembering 'when' - it became obvious that this is one of the all time great teams.
Hell, what a player list.
Have a look for yourself at the top 5!
5. Charles Wade Barkley - I'm kind of aghast to find Sir Charles this low, but I guess the same comment I make on Iverson: such is the quality of the 76ers. Barkley's one of the game's greatest power forwards ever. And that he did so at an obvious vertical disadvantage just screams out how good Chuck was.
Barkley could do it all. Score, rebound, and was one of the best smash-mouth trash-talkers of all time... a trait the Round Mound of Rebound has taken into his post-playing career.

4. Julius Winfield Erving II - Dr J played his latter years in Philly, and he was a vital piece in them winning one of their 3 titles. Whilst he wasn't quite the player he was earlier in his career - the man was still MVP quality, and quite simply put: the best wing out there.
3. Allen Ezail Iverson - It's testament to the quality of the all time roster of the 76ers that Iverson falls to #3. I believe Allen Iverson to be the best small man of all time... a tough accolade as basketball's definitely a big man's sport. And the way he played the game, incredible. It's no exaggeration to state that every time Iverson took it to the rim, he did so with little or no regard for his own personal well-being. The man was fearless.
2. Moses Eugene Malone - "Fo'. Fo'. Fo'."
The reason the 76ers got the title in 1983. Malone was a complete and utter monster. MVP, title-winner, Finals MVP - Moses Malone was added to an already stacked Philly roster, and that was all she wrote. A scoring machine, and sucking in rebounds like god knows what, the title was theirs - due revenge over the Lakers.

1. Wilton Norman Chamberlain - I would argue that in the time Wilt Chamberlain played at the Philadelphia 76ers was the most dominant 4 year period that any player has ever played. Does any player in the history of the game need less of an explanation as to why they're a #1?
Next up, the Phoenix Suns...
