On this day, I find myself with a few things to be thankful for... non-NBA related. 1. The Miami Dolphins experience a huge reversal of fortune, making the playoffs with an 11-5 record after going 1-15 the season before.
2. The Detroit Lions go 0-16 the season immediately after the 'Phins go 1-15, thankfully erasing the '07 'Phins from the "worst-team-in-recent-memory" conversation.
3. Brett Favre is not my team's quarterback. Chad Pennington is. Pennington went 22/30 for 200 yards with 2 touch downs, no interceptions. Favre went 20/40, for 233 yards with 1 TD and 3 interceptions.
4. Like oh-so-many on this day, I am ecstatic that for once, the New England Patriots are once again the Patsies. No playoffs for you.
I'm sure there are many things that I've missed that I should be happy for, and these are but a few. Feel free to add...
